Our Story
Founded in 2014 by Adley Mae Ellenburg, Coloring in Kindness is dedicated to providing comfort to young patients in hospitals. At the age of 8, Adley heard a story on HisRadio 89.3 about a group of window washers at a children's hospital who dressed as superheroes to brighten the kids' day. Inspired to help (but denied the opportunity to wear her Wonder Woman costume and clean hospital windows) Adley decided to collect coloring books and crayons for her local children's hospital. Her mission through these yearly donations is to provide a bit of comfort and joy during what may be a scary, uncertain time. Join Adley in bringing a little joy in children's lives.

Current Initiatives
Donations
Your donations bring color and brightness to hospital rooms, lifting the spirits of young patients. Coloring books and crayons are the most requested item of young patients (and adults also). These are items that cannot be shared or redistributed, and resources are depleted quickly. The smallest of donations can bring the biggest of smiles!
